    School project. We were requested to design the visual identity of a new set of spectacles. I chose to promote black heavy-framed spectacles, the ones usually linked to the image of nerds. I wanted to make the nerd image a trend. To accomplish this, I needed a brand that could support the project: be ironic and get the attention of teenagers and young adults in their 20s. So I opted for Diesel, a successful italian brand that makes irony one of its core values. It was a choice to never let the public actually see a photo of the product, until they were at the store to buy them. There were all sorts of gadgets to personalize, from calculators to pocket savers, to the tape that was included in the box. Read Less
