Nijo - Branding an Upmarket Pan-Asian Restaurant

Nijo
Branding a Upmarket Pan-Asian Restaurant

Client
A beacon of high-end Asian fusion cuisine, ventured to disrupt the dining landscape by blending diverse Asian cultural facets. Bearing the moniker 'Boy Wonderer,' the restaurant's ambition was to create a brand identity that effortlessly wove together design inspirations from across Asia, resulting in a vibrant tapestry of fusion.

Approach
The branding journey for Nijo was rooted in echoing the essence of 'fusion.' With an eclectic design strategy, we melded typeface elements from prominent Asian scripts, including Chinese, Indian, and Japanese. While these intricate designs weren't aimed at linguistic comprehension, they shone as captivating visual art pieces. To complement these design intricacies, we employed a neutral colour palette comprising blacks, creams, browns, whites, and muted olive greens, endowing Nijo with an air of timeless elegance. The resultant branding not only resonated with Nijo's unique culinary offerings but also celebrated the harmonious blend of traditional and modern flavours.
