The construction of high-rise buildings or skyscrapers has become a popular trend in the modern era, thanks to the development and advancement of science and technology and modern construction methods. Modern cities can have dozens of buildings over 60 floors without much difficulty.
However, could the rapid vertical development make people even more alienated from nature, lacking the softness, flexibility, and freshness of life? The buildings are just rigid blocks of glass, with no life of their own, not beneficial to the environment, and even harmful to the atmosphere and global warming.
This is a major challenge for architects, how to design buildings that can protect the common green home of humanity, bringing life to green spaces. That is the goal of my project, I will combine greenery with my all-glass building, to create a 4-star high-rise tourist hotel in the heart of a bustling city.
