"Together with the Rachel Carson Center and in cooperation with Haus der Kulturen der Welt , the Deutsches Museum is currently planning a major special exhibition on the „Anthropocene“. Coined by the atmospheric chemist and Nobel Prize laureate Paul J. Crutzen, the term “Anthropocene” describes the idea of a new geological era starting around 1800 and following the Holocene which is shaped by the deep interventions into nature by humans as biological and geological agents."
I created a Comic strip about Rudolf Diesel and his invention of the Diesel Engine. I focused on the revolutionairy idea behind the engine and the personal urge of Rudolf Diesel.
The Comic will be shown during the whole exhibition next to the original prototype of the Engine.
