"In un soffio" (In a breath)
is a graphic novel that I published in 2023 with the italian publisher Oblomov Edizioni.
It has always been spring for about 15 years.
Since the last war started. Not a cloud, not a drop of rain.
A beautiful warm and benign sun warms the earth and multiplies its fruits, indifferent to the suffering of the few survivors, groups of desperate people who have lost everything, live in trenches and fight against each other without now knowing why. Erre is a fighter.
A victim of blackmail, one day she betrays her own, goes over to the other side with the mirage of seeing her little sister again, and war, raw and mean, occupies the theater of her interiority. Imprisoned in her own trauma, Erre will have to make a long journey, hallucinated and surreal, to find herself and the reasons for her humanity.
