I started The Pond of Stars so that I could bring gender-neutral, affordable original designs to babies, kids, and adults. I'm inspired by animals doing funny human stuff; finding a way to make simple, yet witty designs; and creating high-quality prints.
Basically, I'm looking for a way to bring original designs to people who are mostly faced with highly gendered, corporate-design monotony. By being an independent maker, the consumer and I become part of a community, instead of parts of a dissociated corporate system.
But mostly I like animals doing funny human stuff.

Our graphics are printed using the most environmentally friendly, water-based inks possible. These inks are phthalate, lead and PVC-free and comply with The Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act of 2008 (CPSIA). All of our materials are safe for use with infants.
