CHILDHOOD NOSTALGIA
Is an original printed book about childhood nostalgia and memories from the late 90s and the early 2000s. This book is the collaborative joint project outcome of spring semester 2022/23 by the graphic cluster of the GUC design workshops: illustration techniques, bookbinding and letterpress typography. In the illustration techniques workshop, students were tasked to produce 2 color linocut prints reminiscent of their childhood memories. The letterpress typography workshop was utilized for the cover design and chapter headings typesetting. The bookbinding workshop team carried out the binding process. The book is printed as a limited edition of 100 copies on the Heidelberg platen. I was responsible for the cover design and chapter headers typesetting, the imprint and foreward layout and one of the original prints.
