Taste Ukraine
Our client aimed to create a unique line of teas that reflects the cultural and historical heritage of different regions in Ukraine. Choosing six key ethnographic areas – Slobozhanshchyna, Tavria, Naddniprianshchyna, Sivershchyna, Donbas, Bukovyna – the client infused each tea variant with a distinctive character, enriching them with the essence and spirit of the selected region.
The design process commenced with a meticulous study of ornaments, embroidery, and symbols from each region. The design session defined a minimalist linear graphic style that effectively harmonized seemingly incompatible symbols and graphics.
To reconcile disparate symbols and graphics, a minimalist and formalized linear graphic style was chosen, resulting in the creation of over 90 different icons. Additionally, careful selection of typography and color palette complemented the overall impression of the product.
The outcome – the "Taste Ukraine" lineup not only offers tea but takes you on a genuine journey through the cultural landscapes of Ukraine, delivering a blend of flavors and sophisticated packaging design.
