Phrase Typography

Groovin' Magic is a lyric from the song "Groovin' Magic" by Round Table. The goal of this design was to show the playfulness of the lyric and the city pop vibe the song has.​​​​​​​
Cutting Corners is based off of the phrase "cutting corners". When I think of this phrase, I tend to relate it to math. I wanted the design to reflect that, so I have a grid to represent a coordinate plane, warped lines in the back to represent parabolas and calculus in general, and a somewhat muted color palette to make it feel like this would be on a math test.
Forever and ever is a phrase that can often be used to describe how people felt about the internet when it was taking its first steps as a platform. There was a fear that whatever was posted on the internet was immortalized. Over time, the impact that the phrase "Forever and ever" has decreased, which is why it becomes blurred. The style of the design it meant to be similar to an old PC. This is also the time period in which many people had their fears about the internet.
