Logo Color Variation
When I began working on a project for a clothing brand, I immediately drew inspiration from streetwear fashion. This style has become increasingly popular, particularly among young people, as it allows them to be more creative while still looking stylish. Additionally, it's a perfect illustration of how casual and comfortable clothing can be combined with style.

Submarks & Icons
After conducting thorough research, I have selected Williamsburg, Brooklyn, as an additional source of inspiration and an ideal location for the project to succeed. Williamsburg is renowned for its trendy and creative environment, making it the perfect fit for this brand. Known for its hip and artistic atmosphere, Williamsburg attracts a younger demographic that aligns well with the brand's target audience.
Given the ideal location, Williamsburg has already established brands, and the competition and competition among start-ups is tight. The challenge was how to differentiate the brand from others.
Logo Breakdown
One of the important elements in finding a solution was to create a sense of familiarity with the brand. This could be accomplished by creating mood boards meticulously and conveying a clear message from the brand. Essentially, the idea is to select an inspiration that will give the target audience a feeling of familiarity when they come across or hear anything about the brand.
During the process, I had various concepts and ideas for this specific project in mind. The guiding question was how it would align with the project's goals. And would it immediately evoke familiarity with the target audience?
The idea behind this project was to capture the essence of streetwear culture. We wanted to showcase the vibrant energy of the streets where our target audience would wear the brand's outfits. Think of the bustling streets of Williamsburg, adorned with shop posters and graffiti art.
Logo Progress
Creating a logo for any brand is an important step as it's the first thing people notice. The most challenging part of this process is deciding on the type of logo to use. It was crucial to connect the brand's inspiration (the busy streets and its tagline) to the logo to give the brand its unique identity. The logo design has evolved over time, from emblems to wordmarks and icons. After going through multiple iterations, I finalized a simple, bold, and responsive combination of a wordmark and an icon for the brand's logo, which gives versatility to the brand.

Brand Pattern
Once I had finalized the design for the logo, I used some of its elements to create a pattern for the brand. After that, I worked on creating brand elements and social media templates that the brand could use in the future. I intentionally designed the templates and elements to look like posters, but I made some adjustments to give them an authentic street vibe. And there you have it - the finalized visual designs for my streetwear clothing project, Street Weare.
