"American Gurl" is the second studio album by American artist Kilo Kish. The conceptual album explores themes such as American capitalism, excessive consumerism, and the dynamics of racial identity. The client envisioned a promotional Instagram page as marketing material for the release. I presented a couple of directions for the page that utilizes the signature color palette and provides liner notes. After multiple variations, we conceptualized a final grid. Each thumbnail showcases high-res digital cut-outs from vintage photographs of American imagery and significant landmarks.
