Heartstopper, a webcomic by Alice Oseman, and it’s Netflix adaptation have been among my favourite queer media. It portrays a colorfully hopeful and authentic queer romance, that I found myself rooting for the entire time. 

 

For my motion graphics class, I had the pleasure of creating a title sequence for the show. The moments portrayed showcase the iconic checkpoints to Nick and Charlie’s story from the very first season. The illustrations are created in procreate, and the animation has been compiled in After Effects.
