451 is my first project during my Erasmus exchange. I put together this little book inspired by Fahrenheit 451. The movie paints a picture of a future United States where having and reading books is a big no-no. Firefighters are on a mission to hunt down and burn books at a scorching 451 degrees Fahrenheit. My project is a how-to guide on sneaking around with books, just like the characters in the film. On the cover, you’ll catch a glimpse of the number 451, handcrafted by yours truly using matchbox paper, symbolizing the whole book-burning vibe. The colors and patterns are also inspired by the film’s style.
