L’INNOVAZIONE POSSIBILE
Al giorno d’oggi, è difficile stare al passo con le innovazioni, perché l’impressione generale è quella di non avere abbastanza tempo. Affrontando questo progetto ho deciso di prendere le parti dell’uomo medio che sente parlare dell’AI, senza veramente comprendere a chi o a cosa serve e soprattutto come influirà sulle nostre vite. In uno spazio tridimensionale composto da linee, ma comunque vuoto, che rappresenta un orizzonte da interpretare come incognita, fortemente ispirato al tema digitale/sci-fi agli anni ‘60-’70, prende vita la scena dove l’AI simboleggiato dalle mani muove la figura di una ballerina in maniera precisa, “calcolata”, attraverso questi fili tesi, simmetrici. “perfetti”, salvo uno che crea dinamismo visivo. L’intenzione è di rappresentare la paura che l’AI, possa prevaricarci, con la speranza che attraverso l’esercizio e la conoscenza, l’uomo possa sfruttarla per evolversi, danzando insieme ad essa per creare uno “spettacolo”.
Nowadays, it is difficult to keep up with innovations, because the general impression is that of not having enough time. By tackling this project I decided to take the side of the average man who hears about AI, without really understanding who or what it is for and above all how it will affect our lives. In a three-dimensional space composed of lines, but still empty, which represents a horizon to be interpreted as an unknown, strongly inspired by the digital/sci-fi theme of the 60s and 70s, the scene comes to life where the AI symbolized by the hands moves the figure of a dancer in a precise, "calculated" way, through these taut, symmetrical threads. “perfect”, except for one that creates visual dynamism. The intention is to represent the fear that AI can overpower us, with the hope that through exercise and knowledge, man can exploit it to evolve, dancing together with it to create a "show".
LA VIA PIÙ SEMPLICE
Una copertina pulita, essenziale, per esprimere attraverso due oggetti semanticamente molto forti il concetto di “trappola”, e di “oggetto del desiderio”. L’idea di fondo è stata quella di provare a rappresentare la scelta che ognuno di noi fa quando decide di utilizzare o meno l’intelligenza artificiale per porre la soluzione più facile e con meno dispendio energetico ai propri problemi, mettendo in campo una dinamica che in realtà spesso si rivela a doppio taglio, lasciando libero l’utente di immaginare quale sarebbe la sua scelta indagando dentro se stesso. In questo caso la morsa è posizionata proprio per rappresentare l’ambiguità di questa intelligenza artificiale, un qualcosa che racchiude la perfezione e che però apparentemente non è raggiungibile se non tramite la sofferenza. La soluzione, ovvero il nostro desiderio più allettante, è la ricerca ed il punto più alto al quale ognuno di noi quotidianamente pensa e cerca di risolvere, proprio come il cubo, che la maggior parte delle volte rappresenta come forma la perfezione.
A clean, essential cover, to express the concept of "trap" and "object of desire" through two semantically very strong objects. The basic idea was to try to represent the choice that each of us makes when deciding whether or not to use artificial intelligence to find the easiest and least energy-consuming solution to our problems, implementing a dynamic that in reality it often turns out to be double-edged, leaving the user free to imagine what his choice would be by investigating within himself. In this case the vice is positioned precisely to represent the ambiguity of this artificial intelligence, something that contains perfection and which however apparently cannot be reached except through suffering. The solution, or our most tempting desire, is research and the highest point that each of us thinks about every day and tries to resolve, just like the cube, which most of the time represents perfection as a form.
