I had the pleasure of being one of four editors at the University of Melbourne Student Union's annual POC magazine, Myriad. Our chosen theme for 2023 was Orphic. My role in the magazine was primarily consolidating submissions (written and visual) and backgrounds created for each written piece by sub-editors, typesetting all submissions, cover designs, and putting together the final version ready to be sent to the printers. Along with the other editors, I created social media posts to boost engagement and callouts for submissions. Looking back, there are absolutely things that could've been done differently, and better, but given that I had 48 hours to put together the magazine, I'm quite pleased with the 100-page outcome.
