Established in 2014, Shondo is a unique sandal brand targeting the youth in Vietnam. With a mission to captivate the market through trendsetting designs, Shondo's products not only suit various activities but also offer fashion and versatility for all weather conditions, be it sunny or rainy.

Shondo's flagship products are specially crafted with advanced manufacturing technology and distinctive materials, providing excellent adhesion in rainy conditions while remaining exceptionally lightweight.

The tagline "Light Step, High Spirit" encapsulates the essence of Shondo—where each step is not just about walking but about embodying a buoyant and spirited lifestyle.

Re-Branding Project and New Vision (2017)

I played a pivotal role in the comprehensive re-design of Shondo's Brand Identity in 2017, including the challenging task of changing the brand name from SHAT to Shondo. This posed a significant challenge but also presented an opportunity to reshape the brand's overall image.




Objectives

Vision: Our vision is to transform Shondo into the leading fashion sandal brand, not only popular but also an icon of style and innovation in the world of youth fashion in Vietnam.

Challenge

The project faced a substantial challenge in executing a complete re-branding, encompassing the change in the brand name. This demanded flexibility, creativity, and robust brand management skills to maintain credibility and attract new customers.




Visualization & Design

The Shondo brand name is an ingenious play on the word "SANDAL," creatively stylized in every letter. The logo design, avoiding uppercase, is simple and easily recognizable, exuding an open, youthful, and modern vibe.

The vibrant orange color highlights the spirit of joy, energy, and passion for youthfulness. 
Logotype lines are fine-tuned to convey dynamism and familiarity, with gentle rounded corners for a sleek aesthetic.
