Welcome to my modern take of the Elizabethan collar from the renaissance period. 
I created this piece with very little direction, with only my single source of inspiration a sewing needle with nylon thread and about 40m of fabric, I allowed each section of ruffles to form its unique shape and character onto the bust form.
