In this project I looked at the development of the QR code, starting from inital reseach about how the technology works and the software needed, I wanted to see if this could possibly be taken further, and if the codes could be altered or changed from the "traditional" black and white squares, to something more interesting or personal. I found that QR codes had the ability to be degraded by 30% and could still be scanned and linked to various media. I then took  a series of QR codes that I had linked to CV profiles of friends, and edited them within the Adobe software Illustrator. I found I could utilise colour and create simple shapes such as sillohetes of birds and still retain the link between the code. These experiments developed into a series of badges that hide the QR codes but still retain the technology link.
