February 2017

In February 2017, our adventure in Tanzania began in an unconventional way as we spent a night at the Kenyan airport while waiting for our flight to Arusha. When we arrived, a wealth of discoveries awaited, with eight exciting days across the north of the country.

Our journey took us through stunning landscapes, from the famous Serengeti National Park to the magnificent Tarangire National Park, including the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater. Each day brought its share of unforgettable wildlife encounters, from herds of migrating wildebeest to majestic lions basking in the African sun.

The highlight of our trip was undoubtedly the discovery of the mysterious Lake Natron, a place as astonishing as it is sublime, where the alkaline waters sparkled under the African sky. The images of pink flamingos dancing in the reflections of the lake remain etched in our memories.

However, the adventure did not stop there. An arduous bus ride took us to Dar Es Salam, testing our patience throughout the journey. Despite the challenges, we persisted, because Zanzibar was waiting for us. The island's heavenly beaches and enchanting culture offered us some well-deserved relaxation after the intense days spent on the mainland.

Finally, back in France, memories of our trip to Tanzania persist, recalling the vast plains of the savannah, the majestic peaks and the serene waters of the lake. A chapter of our life that will remain engraved, with Tanzania as the backdrop for an unforgettable adventure.
