On The Lighter Side
on the lighter side - Logo

The client was starting a new custom lamps and luminaries business. I choose to use a lamp within the logo to convey what the customer makes and sells. I drew the lamp in Adobe Illustrator. The font script is suppose to represent the lamp cord. I chose to manipulate part of the font to incorporate a lamp plug.
on the lighter side - Business Card

The client was also in need of business cards for her new business. The business card is two-sided. One side features the logo, the second side features the information about the business. For the design of the business card I chose to incorporate parts of the client's actual lamp within the business card for texture and interest. Instead of a blunt break between the glass images and white space I used a whimsical bracket. For the client's name and the description of what she makes and sells I used the same font as the logo. For the contact info I choose to go with a complimentary font.
on the lighter side - Etsy Shop Banner

The client was also in need of an Etsy shop banner. Due to the rectanglular shape of the banner I chose to adjust the logo to fit within the rectangular shape. I also again included parts of the client's actual lamp and brackets to keep continuity with the business card.
on the lighter side - Mini Business Card

The client also wanted mini business cards for her new business. The mini business card is two-sided. One side features the logo, the second side features the information about the business. For the design of the business card I chose again to incorporate parts of the client's actual lamp within the business card for texture and interest. Instead of a blunt break between the glass images and white space I again used a whimsical bracket. For the client's name and the description of what she makes and sells I used the same font style as the logo. For the contact info I choose to go with a complimentary font style. Due to the size of this mini card I had to change the design slightly to still incorporate what the client wanted and yet make sure it matched the larger business card.
