I sometimes receive orders where multiple horses or horses and dogs or other animals need to be depicted on one canvas. Bringing together, for example, several horses on one canvas it's like gathering horses into a herd and observing their interactions. Someone may take on a leadership role and guide the others peacefully, or they may drive others away from the common territory. Some may seek more attention from people, while others incite others to run away.

On the canvas, the same dynamics occur. And sometimes it's very challenging to find the right place for each character so that they are content.

This time the task was a bit simpler. Each horse had its own canvas, so to speak, its own territory. But since these horses live nearby, and the paintings are destined for such an arrangement, there was still a kind of herding.

Honestly, for me, this is the first experience of depicting horses owned by one person in several paintings. Although, in the past year, I began to notice that the paintings and the animals in them started interacting with each other, even if their stories were not related.

So, meet the lovely ladies! Red Groza, who responds to the name Plusha for those close to her, and she is exactly that. Incredibly kind, warm, and soulful mare, with whom you just want to cuddle and freeze, feeling something maternal and familiar in her. Plusha, as a caring mother, asked to be on the same canvas with her young distinctive daughter Jokonda. Teenagers are teenagers! They keep an eye on each other. So Plusha and Jokonda ended up together, and their connection began to manifest on the canvas. Jokonda reflects her name, and she is a girl with her secret, which she will gradually reveal to the world, revealing herself. For now, she hides her smile a bit, observing what is happening around.
