Hockey club "Saryarqa" was founded in 2006. It is one of the most titled clubs in Kazakhstan. In the 2021/22 season, the team won the Kazakhstan Cup, made a record in the regular season and achieved 40 wins out of 44. This is a team with history!
Champion of the VHL seasons 2013/14 and 2018/2019 and winner of the Bratin and Petrov Cup. Finalist of the Bratina Cup 2012/2013. Winner of the VHL Opening Cup 2014/15. Winner of the VHL Regular Championship 2012/13 and 2014/15. Champion of Kazakhstan in the seasons 2009/2010, 2020/2021, 2021/2022.
In 2023, the club celebrated its 17th anniversary and announced a rebranding. The team has a new logo.
The logo is based on the symbols of the national flag of Kazakhstan: the sun, the golden eagle and an element of the national ornament. Berkut, the club's mascot, became fearsome and determined to win.
