This series is an exploration of what the spirit is perceived as today; so, what  and where do ghosts go? Acquired antique portraits, and imagery are altered through processes both digital, and analogue which represent various different time periods. Eerie and often confusing these works try to provoke some questioning as to that elusive soul’s whereabouts.

Mostly lithography and intaglio prints, these images began on a scan bed. I use  my digital scanner as a form of photography, placing items and collaging pieces to form a confusing and indecipherable space. From there, the image is transferred to an analogue print method. With litho: a limestone, with intaglio a plate of zinc. Next it is are drawn into, with crayons, aquatints, etching, drypoint layered and layered until the final print is teased out.
