LAWMAN BASS REEVES - TITLE SEQUENCE
Following on from our work on 1883 and 1923, this is our title sequence for Lawman: Bass Reeves on Paramount +. The incredible story of the first African American Lawman West of the Mississippi.
We wanted to create a sequence that felt unique from 1883 but within the same family. Again working with the tin type photography medium, we worked within a 'less is more' aesthetic, bringing the photos slowly to life and adding extra movement with organic textures to represent the tin type development process.
Thanks to Michael Friedman and the team from 101studios for having us on this one and Emerson Miller for the photography.
