To play up the food pun, I narrowed down my concept to one inspired by gingerbread houses, cookies, and other seasonal sweets. I went with the second thumbnail sketch for its dynamic layout and playful scale between the lettering and the whimsical cookie landscape. 
I created the overall sugary, snowy effect of this piece using highly textured pixel brushes and the multi-color eye drop tool in Adobe Fresco.
