The ongoing photographic series, "Psytopia," is a compelling display of the fusion of reality and fantasy, capturing w.vv.vv's unique perception of the world. The artist spent countless nights wandering the streets in different cities capturing the photographs, aiming to create an atmosphere and mood out of regular street scenes that often go unnoticed. Some of the photographs from the series were taken from back alleys, places people seldom venture into or find interesting. Through expert photo manipulation, the artist crafted a world that evokes a sense of loneliness amidst the bustle of busy cities. By emptying the streets or leaving just one person in the scene, a stark contrast is created between the vibrancy of the city and the desolation of its inhabitants. Alternative colors express detachment from the collective consciousness and resonate with the feeling of being labeled as a societal outcast. Each photograph was meticulously taken during the evening hours, from the enchanting blue hours to the ethereal moments before dawn. Patience was paramount in capturing these scenes devoid of unwanted human presence, often requiring late-night expeditions when most people were asleep.

The motivation behind this series stems from my profound fascination with cyberpunk culture and the concept of futurism. Immersed in the nocturnal ambiance of the city, my mind envisions alternate realities and designs an entirely new aesthetic. Through the medium of photography and photo manipulation, I embark on an experimental journey, exploring uncharted artistic territory that diverges from my customary pastel pink compositions.
