Micro Library for Children
This project was done in my 2nd year of college. We were asked to create a micro library for children ranging from 8-12 years of age.
Furniture
We had the opportunity to create our own furniture. I referred to Ernest Neufert's guide on ergonomics to guide my way through creating the furniture.

Bookshelves
When it came to the furniture, I took the average measurements of children in the age-range given and designed it accordingly. The reception desk is a comfortable height for an adult to work on and also for a child to reach.
Seat and Bookshelf
Not only meant for storing books, but children can also seat and read on these shelves/seats.
Floor Plan
This library had a reception, a play area, a silent corner and of course, a space that stores books.
