Dans cet article de journal intitulé "FÉVRIER 2023 : LES NOUVEAUX CHIFFRES DE L’EXPÉRIMENTATION ANIMALE SONT PARUS. TOUJOURS PLUS D’ANIMAUX ET DE SOUFFRANCES.", je mets en lumière les pratiques de maltraitance animale perpétrées dans les laboratoires.
Réalisé en collaboration avec One Voice, une association engagée dans la défense et la protection des animaux, cet article vise à sensibiliser le public à l'ampleur de cette problématique.
In this newspaper article titled "FEBRUARY 2023: NEW FIGURES ON ANIMAL EXPERIMENTATION RELEASED. MORE ANIMALS AND SUFFERING THAN EVER BEFORE.", I shed light on the practices of animal abuse carried out in laboratories. Created in collaboration with One Voice, an organization dedicated to the defense and protection of animals, this article aims to raise awareness about the extent of this issue.
Pour la mise en page de cet article, je me suis inspiré des codes visuels du New York Times, une référence dans le domaine du journalisme. Cette approche vise à souligner l'importance universelle de cette lutte contre la maltraitance animale.
J'ai choisi une esthétique monochrome pour les illustrations afin de renforcer la gravité de la situation et de mettre en évidence l'inaction des laboratoires face à cette problématique. Le traitement irrégulier des illustrations, réalisé dans un style rappelant le crayon de papier et l'encre, renforce le caractère poignant du sujet en suggérant la violence subie par les animaux.
À travers ce projet, je souhaite susciter une prise de conscience collective et encourager l'engagement en faveur du bien-être animal. En exposant les chiffres alarmants de l'expérimentation animale, nous espérons mobiliser l'opinion publique pour mettre un terme à ces pratiques inacceptables.
For the layout of this article, I drew inspiration from the visual style of The New York Times, a leading authority in journalism. This approach aims to underscore the universal significance of the fight against animal abuse.
I opted for a monochrome aesthetic for the illustrations to emphasize the gravity of the situation and highlight the inaction of laboratories in addressing this issue. The irregular treatment of the illustrations, executed in a style reminiscent of pencil and ink, enhances the poignant nature of the subject by suggesting the violence endured by animals.
Through this project, I aim to spark collective awareness and encourage engagement in support of animal welfare. By exposing the alarming statistics of animal experimentation, we hope to mobilize public opinion to put an end to these unacceptable practices.
