Role: Graphic Designer | Responsibilities: Concept development and refinement
Working with an outdated and muddled logo, Ocean Shores Golf Course in Washington sought to bring new life into the course's visual identity with a fresh logo design that maintained some classic elements from the original. The gull, abundant in the local area, was the most essential piece in connecting the old with the new. This project focused on revitalizing and trying new concepts in which the bird silhouette is in different poses and more easily read as a bird in flight. An elegant script font was also chosen for the course name to pay homage to the classic serif in the original.
