Brief description of the project:
The concept is a flexible and long-term strategy for shaping the sustainable development of the area while preserving its unique natural assets. At the heart of the vision is a dynamic landscape that provides social, economic and environmental stability for new communities, as well as low-carbon transportation and energy infrastructure to ensure a green future for generations to come. Extensive accessible forests, open water bodies and hilly topography provide remarkable conditions for the creation of compact urban areas. Each urban area (cluster) will function as a distinct neighborhood with a central core of local services and facilities within a 15-minute walk from home. A green ring line will connect all clusters, "stitching" the neighborhood together. Using the existing landscape as a framework for new urban areas.
