The Giver Quartet Package Design
Bind-up Gift Edition for Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, written by Lois Lowry
The Giver Omnibus is a bound collection of four books in the world of The Giver, titled The Giver Quartet. I used a limited color palette of gray to capture the stark, dystopian world, and red to convey the importance of color to The Giver's protagonist as he begins to learn about human experience. In anticipation of the upcoming movie adaptation, this book package aims at introducing new readers, while also honoring longtime fans of the series. Below I show the original cover design alongside the refreshed package.
