Bentobots: The Lunchbox Heroes for a Healthier Generation!

This is a lunchbox design I started some time ago, aiming to tackle the childhood obesity issue in a fun and refreshing way.

Growing up with weight and self-esteem issues is not fun. I dealt with it firsthand. A combination of not eating right and a lack of exercise lead me to battle childhood obesity for much of my life. Now thinner and more educated, I wanted to design a product that would appeal to the next generation -to help them grow up knowing more about the enormous food universe!

Each box features bento inspired compartments that are conscious of portion size, and a robot armor carrying sleeve. Bentobots double as playground companions!

What makes Bentobots truly unique is that they're not just lunchboxes, but characters as well! Each Bentobot is a unique character and comes with an ongoing comic series featuring their adventures. On these journeys kids will see how healthy foods can empower them.

This project will be launching on Kickstarter very soon! (Early August)

Launch - The fearless leader
Dot - The gifted strategist
Giga - The gentle giant
In the Bentobots universe, foods are like power ups in a video game. Based on real nutritional data, foods will be categorized as these powers. I will be adding more soon!
The first comic is 12 pages long and introduces readers to the Bentobots' main antagonist, the evil Dr. Zork!
