Feel Summer Through the Screen

The whole northern region of Spain is just gorgeous during the summer months. It’s green, it’s lush with a very comfortable climate. The water is cold but very refreshing. You can surf, soak up the sun, and enjoy tapas and fresh seafood. What more could you want?
Santander is an excellent destination if you’re looking to escape the extreme temperatures that dominate much of the country in July and August. But let me warn you first, the town is extremely quiet even during the summer, or at least for my liking. I am a city girl, alright?
Luckily, I have friends there and I guess I needed a slower summer after months of non-stop travelling earlier.
