A piece of sophisticated France in the heart of Kaliningrad. It is here that the morning of Kaliningraders begins.
"Croissant" is the most renowned pastry shop in Kaliningrad, or more precisely, a network of pastry shops. The architects were tasked with reflecting the French style and the brand of the network in the interior.

INSPIRATION
In search of Cruassan Cafe's design, we paid great attention to ensuring that the interior palette adopts warm, golden, and caramel tones, evoking associations with the bread baked in these establishments. Lamps with temperatures of 2700K and 2400K create a cozy atmosphere, and narrow lenses in the spotlights ensure intimacy when the cafe is crowded.
PLAN
Structurally, the floor plan was divided by a load-bearing wall into two zones. Thus, the decision was made to introduce two dynamic zones into the cafe's concept: a vibrant daytime area with natural light and a more private evening area with artificial local lighting.
An essential task was to employ classic design techniques associated with typical French cafes: chairs with rattan and interesting patterns in textiles, vintage chairs with velvet upholstery, cabinets with antique glass, an intriguing mosaic on the floor with a welcoming word at the entrance, a painted ceiling, and an entrance glass arch.
Two functional zones are placed along the central axis: a semi-circular pastry showcase at the entrance, allowing customers to order take-away and witness the diverse array of desserts; and on the other side, a mirrored bar where the barista and bartender work.
The use of natural materials and avoidance of imitations allow the interior to age "beautifully" and "authentically." This cafe has truly become a "delicious" and "Instagrammable" spot for residents and guests of the city. The owner and designer are confident that the interior will remain relevant for many years to come.
