of hand-painted watercolour surface pattern design for fabrics
is a collection of patterns for fabrics, wallpapers and other surfaces depicting the four March sisters from the novel Little Women. Painted traditionally using watercolors, emphasizing the carefreeness, joy and freedom of the most beautiful moments in the sisters' lives. I assigned a different flower to each of them, which in my opinion reflects the girls' character. Beth is shy and full of kindness like a chamomile, Meg is as romantic and sedate as a rose, Jo is a rebel with a passion like field poppies, and Amy with all her elegance and love of painting reminds me of a lily of the valley.
