It covers 40 species such as bats, pandas, snakes, lotuses and reeds, exploring their science in a variety of terrains including forests, rivers, plains, deserts and gardens. Through witty and humorous anecdotes, the author connects these otherwise dry scientific facts and takes the reader on a light-hearted learning journey.
In writing this book, my goal was to combine adorable animal images with interesting knowledge of Chinese culture, hoping to provide a more vivid and relevant understanding of these scientific facts. I hope this book will accompany readers on an enjoyable and engaging learning journey.
