Las Vegas Unification

Las Vegas has grown tremendously recently, acquiring or establishing four professional sports teams in the area. It's an incredible thing to see. However, these four teams come with 4 different identities with little to no relation to the city of lights, or to each other.

This project is to show how each can be unified under a common theme and standard design.
The four logos as they exist currently. Notice how they do not share any common elements.
The solution is to find a common theme first and foremost, and all design elements flow from that. The idea is simple: there are four teams, and there are four suits in a deck of cards. Seeing as how Vegas is the gambling capital of the world, it's a perfect fit to tie each team in with a suit. The appropriate motif is applied.

The colors, too, are unified. Gold is now the standard across each team, which is honored from the Athletics. The red seen in the Aces is brightened, bearing a closer resemblance to the famous Welcome to Las Vegas sign. Each logo bears an identical gold to white border.
The Oakland Raiders have one of the most passionate fanbases in the NFL, and seeing them move to Vegas has brought a shift in character. Gone is the Black Hole of fame-- but there are ways to honor it. The Vegas Raiders are representing the suited Hearts, as the King of Hearts is notoriously known as the Suicide King. That's because in a deck of cards, the King of Hearts has a sword either going through his head, or behind. It's up for interpretation, but the logo already bears this resemblance. Raider Nation certainly wouldn't approve of a heart in the logo, so the idea will have to suffice.

The Raider logo bears no change other than the changed border. Silver and gold. Vegas riches, baby.
The Las Vegas Golden Knights have seen great success in their short time since their creation, winning the Stanley Cup in under 5 years. It's an incredible feat.

The Golden Knights represent Spades, the weapons in a deck of cards. Their logo sees the most change out of any in this unification process. First, the dull gold is replaced and finds new luster, with the shadow moving away from a more somber bluish hue to a richer brown carat. The point at the top of the knight's helmet is replaced from a broad, generic tip to the pointed spade.
The Las Vegas Aces have made history since moving into town. They are the first WNBA team in league history to win back-to-back championships. Clearly, their play in Vegas is a standard higher than the rest. That's why they represent the Diamonds in a deck of cards.  And it should go without saying that diamonds to a woman are as prestigious as it gets.

The logo sees uplift in unification with a much more vivid red, and thicker border.
And last but certainly not least, the Athletics. This is a team steeped in rich history, with as many or more championships than anyone. The Athletics are home year in and year out to legendary playmakers and stories that show this team's incredible resilience. But, with a decline year over year in stadium attendance, it makes sense for the Athletics to try their luck in a different city.

That's why the Athletics honor the Clubs in a suit of cards. And it makes perfect sense. They are a baseball club, after all.

The logo receives a careful update to honor this change, by placing a clover with the asterisk. The outside border is also thickened. Any further change would be unnecessary.
