Student brief: Create a pocket money web-site to be used by both children and their parents as a educational and fun resource. The site had to include a concept for a savings calculator to help kids figure out how long it will take them to reach their saving goals.

Concept: Clear, playful, appealing. 

Playing with the idea of making money appealing to kids that word, "money", was transformed into a character they could enjoy playing with: monKey. Monkey provided the name of the site as well as a range of resources and iconography that allow the little ones and their parents to engage with the site.

I ideated an interactive way for children to entering their information. A banana plant, from which our monkey hangs and dances, had clickable areas with saving amounts and time frames, by clicking on the different areas of the plant, the monkey will shake it and drop its bananas becoming a savings goal on the screen.
