Significant moments
When I first started out I never really got into the technicality of editing and lighting. The minor changes and adjustments of just the first semester alone I have been able to see my work transform and increasingly grow and can vividly be shown in the progression of these shots. It’s also interesting to see the difference in comparison to where I first was not even being able to put a name to the style of my work. To somehow have a generalization and feel of the style I intend to portray most now. Finding new artists like David LaChapelle and Rafael Avcioglu really pushed me to dive deeper into the high fashion world and to not set limitations on my creativity whatsoever.

Challenges encountered and how I tackled them.
Along the way with many accomplishments also came tears of frustration, patience and PRACTICE! I am very much an individual who learns off pattern and repetition, the comprehension when it comes to the technical side of photography was and always has been challenging for me to retain if I don’t stick to it continuously. I tend to fiddle with what's been taught. The moment I stepped away for too long it was like restarting all over.
The way I challenged my brain's struggle to keep this information instilled was by not letting myself go at least 3 days without editing and or fiddling with the techniques and over all knowledge I have been fed this semester. It’s been able to build my over all abilities and it can vividly be seen in the progression of these photos!

Perception and approach
Over all I would say the way I view photography all together is substantially different to when I started out. I use to see photography more as a release and “scape goat” when I needed to disconnect from reality and simply release. But knowing that those visions can not only be done for that sense of enjoyment yet also for business aspects completely changed my over all dynamic and approach to how I choose to pursue any of my modelling and or photography moving forward. It’s opening up avenues in other areas I would have never anticipated existed if I didn’t take the opportunity to learn at Algonquin.

Insights
Given where I started already as an Ottawa based model for 10 years now, emoting and creating and experiencing what it’s like to be on the other end. Finding out there were actual directions in which I can approach in this work field where my artwork was not limited simply pushed me to want this more. It shows in my work that evidently it’s not the creative side I am working towards, more so the technical aspect..
But one thing I noticed highly is that when you’re the one behind the lens there is much more control over your vision/images. I can definitely see myself empowering humans all around all over the globe and simply travelling to bring forth some of our next generations best high fashion creative work! To be another unique photographer on the top ten best high fashion creators would be a dream of mine!
