moonlit night. The wind blows gently from somewhere. The lotus leaves gently sway with the wind. You can't hear the song, but you can hear the wind in the swaying rhythm of the lotus flower.

This work is a work using mother-of-pearl. Mother-of-pearl is the processing of seashells and used for crafts. It is also called 'Najeon lacquerware', where 'najeon' means mother-of-pearl and 'lacquer ware' means lacquer coating.

달밝은 밤. 어디선가 바람이 살랑살랑 불어 옵니다. 그 바람을 따라 연꽃 잎이 한들한들 흔들립니다. 그 노랫소리를 들을 수는 없지만, 연꽃의 흔들리는 리듬으로 바람이 내는 소리를 들을 수 있습니다.

본 작업은 자개를 이용한 작업입니다. 자개는 조개껍질을 가공하여 공예용으로 사용하는 것입니다. 나전칠기라고도 하며, 여기서 나전은 자개를, 칠기는 옷칠을 의미합니다.
