Making space for the future

Making space for the future
Initial plans and research
Right of the bat, my basic plan is to use the processes and techniques I already enjoy using and create a narrative around them. These processes and techniques include obvious photo-taking with minimal alterations, possibly to represent things that will stay the same as now, while I may use collages or joiners to represent a somewhat distorted view of the future. I'm planning to focus on how the future of cities may look like on a somewhat short timescale, perhaps in the next decade or two. I will focus on Stafford, not only because it is my place of residence, but also because it is frankly quite a generic and unremarkable area. Focusing on it and its future may paint a better general idea of how the common town and how the average person may get affected by possible technological progress. This will all culminate in the creation of a thematically sound triptych; a collection of 3 images in a closet-like structure.
Marshall Brown
Marshall Brown is an architect, urbanist, and futurist living in Princeton, New Jersey. His most famous works have to be his collages of abstract and angular buildings, separate parts of structures cut out and grouped together to form new geometric structures.
My idea is to present some of the more positive aspects of how the future could look like using this geometric style. The abstract, structured look may be akin to the clean yet sterilised architecture we may see in the future.
Tatiana Bilbao
Tatiana Bilbao is a Mexican architect known for her geometric designs of possible sustainable housing. Her colourful works merge the beauty of nature alongside human ingenuity and spirit.
Similarly to Marshall Brown's work, I may use a similar style to Bilbao to present the positive aspects of the future. However, I may instead focus on the people living in this potential future while using such a style, much like Bilbao integrates people within the architecture.
David Hockney
David Hockney is an English painter and photographer who essentially came up with the concept of photographic 'joiners' in the 1980s as a result of wanting to experiment with collages and panoramic photos.
I will use this more chaotic and unorganised style to present the negatives of the modern, industrialised world, with its corruption and feeling of disillusionment with the world.

Feedback
Upon receiving some feedback and advice on my works, I have been advised to add more text to my images, specifically to the second image, possibly in the corner, as it will fit in more than in the first image. However, I have decided to forgo this as it impacts the composition negatively, but my fourth image was designed specifically with text in mind so the composition is not compromised.
