Aroma
Welcome to Aroma. Aroma is a group interactive typeface project where our group had to make letters interactive. Our group chose the word Aroma because our idea was to make a typeface that encourages smelling. We wanted to to utilize peppermint to allow anyone to smell our typeface. A small bonus was the pattern from the shadow on the wall behind the letters.
Final Product
Our hopes was to allow our classmates and anyone walking in the hall to walk around and smell the letters.

We wanted to get a general idea of how we wanted to hang our word.
The Work Behind the Madness
Our group started by figuring out which word we wanted then moved into which smell was fitting for this project. We settled on peppermint. Next we looked up the history of mint. Some research we found was Egyptians used mint for multiple reasons such as digestive properties. Based off of the our research, we decided on using similar colors and patterns based on Egypt. We decided to use dark red, green, cream, and blue with gold patterns.
