Open Season Studio is thrilled to partake in the creation of the 'HOME' Music Video by Isyana Sarasvati & Rayhan Maditra, lending our expertise as costume designers.

This project means a lot to us because it's a chance to team up with passionate individuals who are experts in what they do. In this post, we'll dive into all the nitty-gritty details about the costumes.

"Red & Blue"

Colors hold a vital role in conveying the essence of the song. We have the privilege of exploring the hues of red and blue for our main characters. Red symbolizes masculinity and innocence, while blue evokes feelings of serendipity and tranquility. The dancers beautifully embodied both characters, gracefully embracing the costumes as they moved.

For the character represented by RED, I aimed for a classic silhouette, reflecting the quintessential male archetype. An all-red tailored jacket emerged as the perfect choice to encapsulate this persona. Conversely, BLUE radiates femininity through a ruffled mini dress, adding depth and charm to the character. Both ensembles were meticulously crafted and designed by Berlian Alamanda.

When it comes to materials, we meticulously selected lightweight, easily washable fabrics. Given that both characters will dance amidst beaches, rocky waterfalls, and plunge into the ocean, durability and comfort were paramount considerations.

We also had the opportunity to handcraft the masks, intricately fashioned from wires and adorned with bejeweled embellishments, adding the finishing touch to the overall look.

"Black"

Choosing the jersey stretch material was an easy process as we knew we wanted to have something flowy, structureless, and gender fluid for the extras. The black color & flowy material serves a dynamic contrast to the main character’s quintessential male & female look.
