Sculpture class, prompt: Slipcasting

To make this sculpture, I used a Moana doll that I thrifted and took it apart to make a plaster cast. With that, I made a slip cast of all the parts and assembled the base for my character. I decided to sculpt my own head model, since I wanted different proportions than the doll head. The rat was one I sculpted by hand and then made a cast. I used acrylic paint to paint the body and the rat.

The clothes are made of scrap fabric and various trinkets I had from my sewing box. The base is a painted wood plate with dried moss glued to it.
