In my color and composition class, we had a project that had us use a piece of black paper and design a poster involving some message. I came up with this design through inspiration from an art book I found at the library, which was also part of the project, and I sketched it onto the black paper. Then it was just a matter of cutting it out strategically with an X-acto knife, so that a piece of white paper could be seen behind our newly cutout poster.
