Irish Folklore: King Nuada of the Tuatha De Danann

Nuada Airgeadlámh
Part of my Irish folklore collection. Here is King Nuada, first king of the Tuatha Dé Danann, the semi-divine beings who inhabited Ireland prior to mortals. Here he is seated on his throne in Tara, resting his thoughts and his chin on 'An Claidheamh Solais', the original lightsaber.

Airgeadlámh means 'silver-hand'. Nuada lost his arm in battle and had it replaced by his physician - the god of healing, Dian Ceacht, who is pictured conjuring the arm in another project in my profile.
