Plantlings is a product seeking to empower individuals to effectively nurture their plants without the necessity of a digital interface. This product bridges the gap between plant and human, effectively communicating how the user should care for the plant’s exact needs. The aim for this project was to reverse digitize an app that is currently on the market, and Plantlings was developed to replace the need for the existing app Planta. Your Plantling, when placed in your plant's soil, will monitor moisture and sunlight levels and provide visual cues for what your plant is needing more or less of.
