A collaborative project with a product design that takes a screen based media that is abstract and flat, placing it in a tangible realm to highlight its complex features and functionality is at the core of this project. Layers is a physical representation of a website and how it works behind the scenes.

 

Layers represents a website at its most simple. There are fours layers: HTML, colour, text and image. Removing or missing out one of these layers affects the functionality and athestics of it. Viewing the project from different angles to see the individual layers provide a different perspective and experience of a website than through the traditional screen.
