Sneguročka
Here's the first russian fairy tale that I worked on for my stylistic enhancement project:
"Sneguročka", which means "Snow Maiden", of which I illustrated a simulation of double page cover and back + an internal illustration related to a significant moment of the story.

There are two versions of the story, the one I chose, says that Sneguročka was the daughter of two people who couldn't have children and, for this reason, they decided to "make" a daughter with some snow. One day, Sneguročka, who always felt sad in the summer, went into a forest with other girls to pick some flowers; the girls then lit a bonfire, around which they started jumping: Sneguročka did too, but it melted and became a cloud.
