The objective of this project was to create a scalable postage stamp in a minimal realist style using simple shapes, reminiscent of the work of artist Charley Harper.

I chose the sandhill crane as my subject because of their natural beauty and grace. Also, the sandhill crane is indigenous to Glen Ellyn and can be found at the Willowbrook Wildlife Center, less than a mile away from COD’s McAninch Arts Center.
